Bumper to Bumper Radio, the car guys on KTAR, 92.3 FM in Phoenix, AZ, broadcast every Saturday from 11:00 am to noon. On this show, Dave Riccio of Tri-City Transmission in Tempe, AZ talks about how to communicate complaints effectively with your car repair shop. Also on this show:

• Check engine light was on and car is driving rough. Shop replaced sensors and lights, but still driving rough. Tire shop said it was a cupped or feathered tire.
• Car shops like complaints because they can fix problems within their shop.
• 2012 Kia with 2000 miles. Rough idle when coming to a stop light.
• 1990 Plymouth Voyager, V6. Fuel line collapses.
• 2012 Honda Accord with 2170 miles. Vibration on steering wheel. Dealership checked tires.
• 2004 Toyota Forerunner. Secondary restraint system (SRS) warning light came on.
• 1997 Ford Escort. Stuttering idle. Goes away when hitting the gas.
• Should you change your fuel filter every 30,000 miles?
• 2004 Nissan Frontier. Just had timing belt replaced. Hears a short screeching sound and has a loss of power when driving.
• 2004 Ford Expedition. Recently changed fuel pump and car died while driving.
• 1991 Suburban with 80,000 miles. Serviced engine after it had not ever been serviced. Getting hot break smell and not shifting into second gear. After a few days, it now runs fine.
